The center is committed to providing advanced care to patients, education for patients, families, and the medical community, and research. Our educational efforts begin with individual patients and families who are considering a neurosurgical treatment for their condition. Our brochure of Surgery for Parkinson’s Disease Guide has been widely distributed to patients and physicians around the country. We are active in the community, and regularly speak at support group gatherings and seminars in the New York metropolitan area. In addition, we work to educate the larger community of physicians who care for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders by speaking at hospitals and national meetings.
